I design on the Decorative Accessories category at West Elm, a division of the company that encompasses a variety of product such as vases, candlelight, lanterns, decorative objects, trays, photo frames, and boxes. I work on other categories as well, including baskets, wall decor, homescent, and mirrors.
Designing a range of products at West Elm with different materials and product uses has given me an intimate grasp on the wide range of corresponding production methods. I travel to our manufacturing partners overseas and review samples in person, which lets me refine products for our customer’s homes in granular detail to help West Elm maintain its edge as a leader in modern design.
