I developed an eco-conscious dispenser for Moroccanoil, designed specifically for luxury hotels. Each component was optimized for disassembly, repair, and theft protection.
In preparing for the design I assessed the blank space in the market, as well as Moraccanoil’s business, and concluded that an amenity dispensor with Moraccanoil’s recognizable branding would give them access to a new base of customers in an intimate setting. The decision to use their signature glass bottle allowed the component to be recycled universally and indefinitely. The metal wall-mounted hinge that secures the bottle can also be recycled. The silicone reservoir which vacuum seals inside the neck of the bottle, can be burned and composted.
